Proposed Initiative Proposition Number One · Initiated state statute

Homeowner property tax exemption

A YES vote means:

Half of the assessed value of a qualified homeowner’s primary residence would be exempt from property tax.

A NO vote means:

No new homeowner exemption is created, and current property tax law stays the same.

What it would change, fiscal impact, and official sources

One initiated statute; no constitutional amendments are on the 2026 ballot. Wyoming does not publish official yes/no explanations; explanations are drawn from the ballot language.
