Nevada county laws

Select your county on the map or in the list. Each county page links to the official county code and meeting agendas, and lists recent ordinances and resolutions, in plain language where a summary has been written. County laws change often, and the official source is always the authority.

Good to know: Carson City is a consolidated city-county: it is Nevada’s only independent city and works as a county for map purposes. Nevada’s other 16 counties are run by boards of county commissioners.
