Colorado county laws

Select your county on the map or in the list. Each county page links to the official county code and meeting agendas, and lists recent ordinances and resolutions, in plain language where a summary has been written. County laws change often, and the official source is always the authority.

Good to know: Colorado counties are governed by an elected Board of County Commissioners (a few home-rule counties use other names). Denver and Broomfield are each a combined city and county, so one government makes both the city and county laws.
