Proposed Initiative Proposition Number One: Homeowner property tax exemption
On the ballot: November 3, 2026 Initiated state statute
A YES vote means
Half of the assessed value of a qualified homeowner’s primary residence would be exempt from property tax.
A NO vote means
No new homeowner exemption is created, and current property tax law stays the same.
