Proposed Amendment No. 2: Local property tax millage rates
On the ballot: November 3, 2026 Legislatively referred constitutional amendment
A YES vote means
A local taxing authority that levies less than its maximum millage rate could keep the ability to later raise it back up to the maximum authorized rate from a prior year’s reassessment.
A NO vote means
The constitution would not change.
