Statewide Amendment 3: Pledge of Allegiance and student-led prayer in public schools
On the ballot: November 3, 2026 Legislatively referred constitutional amendment (Act 2026-379)
A YES vote means
Every local board of education would have to adopt policies for a daily Pledge of Allegiance at the start of each school day and allowing student-initiated, student-led prayer in public K-12 schools.
A NO vote means
The Alabama Constitution would not be changed.
